Winter Is Coming

When you hear “Winter Is Coming,” you either think about Game of Thrones or you think about the cold weather that’s on its way. For most people, it’s a reminder to take out your winter clothes and prepare for the holiday season! However, there are some people who aren’t as fortunate with being able to think that. They are more focused on how they’re going to even prepare for the winter day by day and provide for their families.

Join me in the Winter Is Coming Drive! Each month I’m going to be collecting different items in order to give back to the Lexington community & hopefully find different businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations to help collect items.

For this September, I’m collecting BABY CLOTHING, TOYS, and BOOKS for The Nest Center For Women! The Nest provides a safe place for education, counseling, and support to children and families in crisis. Their programs focus on the prevention of physical and sexual abuse, neglect of children, and the stabilization of the family unit.
