Weekly Discussion Post: Self Awareness Journal
The purpose of this assignment is to challenge students to be aware of their inner emotions, thoughts, behaviors, attitudes, values, preferences, goals, challenges, mindsets, and how these qualities impact their behavior and choices. There are two main components to this assignment. The first component is for students to track the progress of their week based on emotions, thoughts, attitudes, etc. Students are encouraged to spend the day either how they normally would or find time to be completely by themselves while doing a task they enjoy. This could include but isn’t limited to listening to music, watching some form of entertainment, or doing/attending some type of activity or event. On the Sunday of each week by 11:59pm, students will have to share their progress and a reaction to their behaviors and choices on Campus.
